Senior Backend Developer

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Location: Remote (India) Experience Required: 5+ years About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our users' needs. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks. - Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Develop and maintain APIs for seamless communication between various components of the application. - Optimize existing backend systems for performance, scalability, and security. - Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote best practices in software development. - Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend architecture. - Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend services and APIs. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and contribute to the overall improvement of the development process. Required Skills: - Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go. - Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Good to Have Skills: - Experience with GraphQL and serverless architecture. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices. - Knowledge of security best practices in backend development. - Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in backend development or cloud technologies are a plus.
