About the role
Focus on topics such as electrical integration and testing of complex systems, spacecraft electrical ground support equipment, environmental testing methodologies, and adherence to ISO standards for cleanroom operations.
Responsibilities
- Create technical documentation including test procedure, test matrix per AIT phase, test scripts, test report
- Oversee electrical AIT operations/processes with the QC to ensure they are completed correctly
- Generate Spacecraft Electrical Ground Support Equipment requirements and arrange/prepare equipment
- Perform investigations for resolution of non-conformances and anomalies
- Support environmental tests (Thermal Vacuum Tests, Vibration Tests, Acoustic Tests, EMI/EMC Tests) at satellite level
Full description
Responsibilities:
Create technical documentation including test procedure, test matrix per AIT phase, test scripts, test report
Oversee electrical AIT operations/processes with the QC to ensure they are completed correctly
Generate Spacecraft Electrical Ground Support Equipment requirements and arrange/prepare equipment
Perform investigations for resolution of non-conformances and anomalies
Support environmental tests (Thermal Vacuum Tests, Vibration Tests, Acoustic Tests, EMI/EMC Tests) at satellite level
Propose solutions in line with the schedule / process in place in case of anomalies
Support launch campaign (between 5 to 8 weeks duration)
Adhering and maintaining to ISO 14644-1 standard for cleanrooms
Completion of the activities in a timely fashion with the allocated/foreseen duration and resources
Working level in English
Required Skills:
Utilization of electrical tools and test aids (probes, multi-meters, scopes, break-out boxes etc.).
Good knowledge of signal electrical characterization
Knowledge on Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSEs)
Mate/demate connections
Non-conformance reporting
Procedure writing
Test script writing
Desired Skills:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, aerospace engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience in the integration and testing of complex and highly integrated systems
Hands-on experience in the development of hardware.
Experience writing test scripts.
Be comfortable with a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Candidates with demonstrated "hands-on" experience in some engineering domains and interdisciplinary experience are preferred. The role will lead and oversee electrical integration and functional testing activities to be performed on the spacecraft.
