JOB TITLE: Python Developer COMPANY: Niruthi Climate & Ecosystem EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time, Permanent EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3–5 Years POSITIONS: 2 JOB LOCATION: HYDERABAD ABOUT THE ROLE: Niruthi Climate & Ecosystem is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend applications that support data-driven climate and geospatial intelligence platforms. The role involves building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, and integrating data engineering workflows and machine learning pipelines. You will work closely with engineering and data teams to ensure robust, secure, and high-performance applications that support mission-critical analytics and environmental data systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python • Build scalable backend systems using modern Python frameworks • Design and develop REST APIs following best practices and JSON schema standards • Develop and manage database schemas, queries, and data models • Integrate applications with data engineering workflows and machine learning pipelines • Implement secure coding practices and ensure API security standards • Identify and resolve issues detected by code analysis and security tools • Write unit tests using testing frameworks and maintain high code coverage • Optimize API performance and ensure efficient backend operations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain production systems • Document application design, architecture, and feature implementations SKILLS REQUIRED: • Strong programming skills in Python and backend application development • Experience with Python backend frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django) • Strong understanding of REST API design principles and API architecture • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling • Knowledge of security practices including OWASP Top 10 and secure API development • Experience with version control systems such as Git • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS • Ability to work independently and manage full feature development lifecycle PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Experience working with data engineering workflows or ML pipelines • Familiarity with Databricks environment and data analytics workflows • Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation • Experience building scalable backend systems for data-driven platforms WHY JOIN / WHAT WE OFFER: • Opportunity to work on technology supporting climate and ecosystem intelligence • Exposure to modern backend architecture and data engineering systems • Collaborative work environment with interdisciplinary engineering teams • High ownership and opportunities to work on impactful products • Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
