Supply Chain Executive

Job Title: Supply Chain Executive Location: India (Remote) Experience Required: 5 years About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Executive with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficient operations, and optimizing inventory management to meet the demands of our customers while adhering to regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. - Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management. - Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products. - Monitor supply chain performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). - Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to maintain continuity of supply. - Conduct market analysis to forecast demand and adjust supply chain strategies accordingly. - Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance service levels. - Train and mentor junior supply chain staff to build a high-performing team. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. - Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems). - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. - Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams. - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Good to Have Skills: - Experience with regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. - Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting techniques. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
