Audio Visual Engineer Role

Job Title: Audio Visual Engineer Location: Remote (India) Experience Required: 5 years About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining audio-visual systems for various applications, including corporate events, conferences, and virtual meetings. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality audio-visual experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Design, install, and maintain audio-visual systems for live events, meetings, and presentations. - Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand audio-visual requirements and provide tailored solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio, video, and lighting equipment during events. - Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades of audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal performance. - Provide technical support and training to staff and clients on the use of audio-visual systems. - Stay updated on the latest audio-visual technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements. - Develop and maintain documentation for audio-visual systems, including user manuals and technical specifications. - Assist in the planning and execution of virtual events, ensuring seamless integration of audio-visual components. - Manage inventory of audio-visual equipment and coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in audio-visual installations. Required Skills: - Proficient in audio-visual equipment setup, including microphones, projectors, mixers, and lighting systems. - Strong knowledge of video conferencing platforms and streaming technologies. - Excellent troubleshooting skills for audio and video equipment. - Familiarity with software tools for audio-visual design and control (e.g., Q-SYS, Crestron, etc.). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good to Have Skills: - Experience with 3D modeling and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp). - Knowledge of network infrastructure and its application in audio-visual systems. - Certification in audio-visual technology (e.g., CTS, AVIXA). Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in audio-visual technology or project management are a plus.
