A leading airline is hiring an Associate Director – Crew Systems to drive the strategic governance, optimization, and digital transformation of crew management systems for Pilots and Cabin Crew. This is a senior leadership role operating at the intersection of operations, technology, and safety-critical decision-making.
🔹 Brief About the Role:-
The Associate Director – Crew Systems will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of crew systems—primarily AIMS or other advanced crew operations platforms—ensuring seamless integration between OCC, Crew Management, and IT.
This role focuses on delivering safe, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective crew operations across the airline’s network. The position demands strong operational insight, vendor and contract leadership, and the ability to drive digital transformation in high-stakes operational environments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Lead governance, optimization, and roadmap development for crew management systems
• Act as the primary interface between OCC, Crew Operations, IT, and system vendors
• Ensure regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and cost efficiency
• Drive automation and digitization of crew-related workflows
• Manage and develop high-performing teams in a 24x7 operational ecosystem
• Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and system enhancements
🔹 Candidate Requirements
✔️ 12+ years of experience in airline operations, OCC, crew management, or crew systems
✔️ Hands-on experience with AIMS or a leading crew operations platform (mandatory)
✔️ Proven people management experience in high-pressure, safety-critical environments
✔️ Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities
✔️ Engineering, Aviation Management, or related degree preferred
✔️ Master’s degree is a strong advantage
