Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Integration Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in backend/API integrations. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Python, experienced in working with REST APIs, SFTP, and AWS S3, and comfortable using tools like ChatGPT or similar AI assistants to improve coding productivity and task efficiency. You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to deliver high-quality, timely integration solutions across various systems and platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain API integrations and data connectors using Python. Build scripts to connect with SFTP servers and manage files on AWS S3. Integrate third-party APIs with secure authentication and robust error handling. Use AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to enhance development speed and accuracy. Collaborate with project managers to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery. Maintain clear documentation for integration workflows, configurations, and usage. Monitor, debug, and resolve integration issues in production and test environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Python development. Experience working with RESTful APIs, SFTP, and AWS S3. Familiarity with JSON, XML, CSV, and other common data formats. Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms like OAuth2, API keys, and tokens. Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot to assist in daily development tasks. Good understanding of Git for version control. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai. Nice to Have: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps basics. Basic knowledge of cloud services (AWS preferred). Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and scheduling tools.
