Role Brief:
We are looking for a Finance Associate: Controller Support to join our Finance team, playing a critical role in supporting the overall Financial Controller function. This role is central to ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, adherence to global accounting standards, and the timely completion of reporting and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries, general ledger scrutiny, and necessary accruals and provisions.
Ensure all accounting and financial reporting adheres strictly to Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
Prepare and maintain detailed reconciliation of all major balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving outstanding items promptly.
Assist the Controller in the preparation of statutory financial statements and consolidated accounts.
Support the external audit process by preparing comprehensive schedules, providing necessary documentation, and addressing auditor queries related to financial data and disclosures.
Coordinate with the internal control team to maintain accurate documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all accounting activities.
Ensure timely compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS) and other statutory filings.
Job Requirement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit, core accounting, or financial reporting, preferably within a technology or high-growth company.
In-depth technical knowledge and practical experience in applying Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) is essential.
Strong command over bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and the month-end closing cycle.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Sheets with experience working with accounting software
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict reporting deadlines.
