Backend Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer Location: Remote (India) Experience Required: 3-5 years About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side logic, database management, and API development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend of our applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Develop and manage APIs to support various applications and services. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. - Implement security and data protection measures. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes. - Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Required Skills: - Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby. - Strong experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. - Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Good to Have Skills: - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with microservices architecture. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Experience with GraphQL. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in software development or cloud technologies are a plus.
